HOW TO USE BUILDSTACK
Follow these steps to go from site visit to client-ready document in one session.
Before you export your first report go to Settings and add your professional details. These appear automatically on every document you produce.
Add the following in Settings:
If you skip this step your exported documents will show red placeholder prompts reminding you to add your details before issuing to a client.

Common questions
How does the free plan work?
You get 1 free export of each output type - one Inspection Report, one Schedule of Works, and one Pricing Schedule - with no credit card required. This gives you everything you need to evaluate BuildStack on a real job. When you are ready for more, upgrade to Solo or Professional.
What happens to my data if I don't upgrade?
Your data is safe. Your account, projects, and issues are all retained. You just won't be able to export further documents until you upgrade. Nothing is deleted.
Can I upgrade or cancel at any time?
Yes. Solo and Professional are monthly subscriptions with no minimum term. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from your billing settings at any time.
Who is responsible for the generated content?
You are. BuildStack is an assistant tool - it drafts probable cause and repair guidance based on your site notes and photos. You review, edit, and approve everything before it reaches a client. BuildStack accepts no liability for outputs used without professional review.
Do I need to be RICS-qualified to use BuildStack?
No. BuildStack is designed for building surveyors, contract administrators, property consultants, and defect and snagging professionals at all levels. You do not need a specific qualification to use the platform.
